In this collaborative exercise, small groups will analyze a given image inspired by the works of L.S. Lowry. Participants will discuss the subject matter, painting techniques, and the historical period represented in the image. By examining details such as clothing, body shape, and movement, students will gain insights into Lowry’s unique style, characterized by matchstick figures in industrial landscapes. This activity encourages creativity and observation, ultimately guiding participants to create their own Lowry-inspired drawings, honing their artistic skills in the process.
