Partnership working MCMC

The ZEST Programme, in partnership with MCMC, various high schools, local councils, and RZSS, offers senior students (S5) a unique opportunity to engage in conservation and enrichment projects. Participants will undertake eight zoo visits, five school visits, and collaborate on group assignments, enhancing their employability at SCQF level 4. Students gain hands-on experience through work placements at Edinburgh Zoo, while also attending workshops on environmental issues, skills development, and presentations to school and zoo staff. Health and safety is prioritized with thorough risk assessments and compliance with RZSS safety codes.
