PSD and Title V GHG Tailoring Rule Step 3 and GHG PALs • Proposed Rule Published March 8, 2012 • Maintained the applicability thresholds at the current levels • Two streamlining approaches • Solicited comments • Final Rule Published July 12, 2012 • GHG-only sources may obtain a GHG PAL and remain a ‘‘minor source’’ as long as GHG emissions remain below the PAL • Did not finalize the synthetic minor streamlining measure for GHGs in areas under a FIP • Rule Effective August 13, 2012 • Technical Lead: Johnny Vermillion (239-1292)
