  6. Akelaland Cub Scout Camp • Nationally accredited camp • 200 acres of adventure and the waterfront at Lake Trexler • And our great swimming pool and shower house

Day Camp • Enjoy all outdoor camp activities without spending the night • Monday-Friday (Usually 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) • Sibling program available! • Again for the 2013 season there will be before and after care for all camps (there will be an additional fee for this service) so that there are more opportunities for your son to attend camp as you travel to and from work.

  8. Staff • Over 50% of staff are over 18 years old • Experienced Camp and Program Directors are PA certified educators • Key staff nationally certified in their program area

  9. Safety Comes First • First Aid and CPR trained staff members • Health Officer or First Aid Lodge always available • Our camps are all Nationally Accredited

More For Your Money • Compare a week at Akelaland to other camps: • Football Camp $1,750/week • Soccer Camp $555/week • Church Camp $425/week • YMCA Camp $385/week • BSA, Bucks County Council $????/week (2011) • Campership funds available to provide partial financial assistance • Confidential applications are available from the Minsi Trails Council Scout Service Center

More For Your Money • Your Summer Camp fee helps pay for: • All meals every day (and the food’s good, too) • All program areas (don’t forget the great pool) • All program supplies • Experienced, quality staff (salaries & training) • All support services (first aid, ranger, etc.) • All camp utilities and maintenance • Camp improvements • Camperships
