  3. Eligibility Calculator Once you have calculated your GPA compare it on the Eligibility Index. SAT is ReadingComprehension and Math test scores combined (no Writing).
  4. Tips Keep your username and password written down somewhere. You can save applications and log on later to complete. Use High School transcript in order to enter in class information. Do not send transcript unless requested. Check 1st page of application to see when school requires transcript. You will find your SSID on top of your SMHS transcript (called state ID) Complete one full application for one CSU before starting any other applications Be sure to enter in the high schools that you have attended and Palomar (Under the College Info Tab) if you took a class there. You are attending San Marcos High School in San Marcos, Ca NOT Santa Barbara or Texas.
  5. When entering in test information be sure to include scores. If you are taking a test in the future (Oct/Nov) put that date on your application and leave your score blank When taking SAT test use the code 3594 to send scores to ALL CSU campuses. Scores must be sent directly from College Board. If you have listed a CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, you can use the ACT Scores Manager through CSU Mentor to release your score to additional campuses. Before you can use the ACT Scores Manager, you must first have arranged for your scores to be sent to a CSU campus.
  6. Each CSU campus will ask you to create an account with their system. Do it and keep track of your password and username and check back at least once a week. Also, create a professional email address that you will check. These are the official communication methods of CSU. Track application status, “To Do” items, and Due Dates through campus accounts and email.
  7. Adding courses Choose the school that they were taken at (SMHS or Palomar) Choose the grade level, year, title and semester course with 2 grades given for a full academic year. Choose the grade for each semester (if you repeated a D or F only report the new grade and not the D or F) Designate if it was an honors course only if there is a star on the left of the course on your high school transcript. CANNOT designate Bio (H), English (H), History (H), Geometry (H), or Algebra 2 (H) as an honors course
  8. List additional non a-g courses such as: Leadership (ASB), Yearbook, Drafting, Woodshop, etc (if asked). When completing the information on the Fee Waiver page IT MUST BE ACCURATE.
