  2. Overview: Fly Ash -A byproduct of coal-fired electric generating plants, i.e. Fly Ash. It is produced from burning pulverized coal in electric power generating plants.   3. Types of Fly Ash -Fly ash is divided into residues as resulting from – the combustion of powdered coal. It is usually captured from the chimneys of coal-fired power plant. -Fine Fly Ash also has pozzolanic properties. Sometimes, it is blended with cement for some reason.
