  5. NHS Permissions • R&D and Ethics approval + NHS Permissions • MRHN CSOs support • SSI form • Governance Review • Study can begin

  6. Recruiting Patients PI’s ultimate responsibility Participants’ welfare and medical care Ensure procedures, IC, are followed Screening Assessment Collecting samples

  7. Support you will receive • Mental Health Research Network (MHRN) • Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN) • Study team • R&D team

  8. Support you will receive • MHRN  NIHR CRN mental health studies • CLRN clinical trials + well designed studies • Four researchers in Kent & Medway • Sarah Dickens • Imogen Bennetto • Tessa Saunders • Eliza – Jane Corson

  9. FREE TRAINING • Good Clinical Practice • International ethical and scientific quality standard • Designing, conducting, recording and reporting trials • Participation of human subjects • Legal requirement (CTIMP) • Face to face in the last two years • Online, a face to face within 6 months • Further details: MHRN CSOs, research@kmpt.nhs.uk
