DEFINITION OF TERMS Portal/Website Interchangeably used, this refers to the MS Sharepoint portal that will be used as the primary interface with the different systems Process Series of sequential actions/events that is performed in order to complete a task Encoder Person from the statistics/accreditation division who inputs gathered data into the portal for accommodation establishment Notification Electronic notices sent to different groups whenever there is a change in status on particular records Forms Online template of a document that will be filled up by a user.

DEFINITION OF TERMS Investment Opportunity Monitoring Includes online application for property owners and search & matching facilities for investment officers in locating available investment opportunities Investor Profiling Contains application & inquiry forms to be filled up online by potential investors; includes a database of all the investor inquiries received Investment Activity Monitoring Covers online application for tourism-related investment endorsements received by the department and monitor the progress of these endorsements.

TOURISM INVESTMENT SYSTEM > APPLICATION FOR PROPERTY OWNERS USER: PROPERTY OWNER Step 1: Open Internet Browser Step 2: Type in http://tourism.gov.ph If internet Connection is ok, DOT Website will be displayed Step 3: Go to Business Development > Invest in the Philippines to direct user to the Investment Page or simply click Click Here on the Quick link for Investment Inquiry found on the website Step 4: Once on the Investment Page, click on Register a Property link to display Property Owner’s application form Step 5: Fill up information on the application form provided Step 6: Click Submit New Property Registration button to submit the form

TOURISM INVESTMENT SYSTEM > APPLICATION FOR PROPERTY OWNERS Once application has been submitted, system will generate unique Property Owner id number, username and password and can be used for logging-in to the Investment Portal. This will be sent trough an email and the property submitted will have a status of ASSIGNED. 18

TOURISM INVESTMENT SYSTEM> PROPERTY REGISTRATION USER: PROPERTY OWNER Step 1: Open Internet Browser Step 2: Type in http://e-services.tourism.gov.ph:8080/TIS If internet Connection is ok, DOT Portal Log In Page will be displayed Step 3: Enter the given User Name and Password and Step 4: Click Sign In button to log in Step 5: To Add another property for registration, on the Investment Portal, click on New Property Application button to display Property Registration’s form Step 6: Fill up information on the application form provided Step 7: Click Submit New Property Registration button to submit the form Step 8: Click Property Owners’ Icon to display list of property owners Step 9: Under Supporting Documents Tab, click on Browse Icon of the selected supporting document to be uploaded Step 10: Select on the document to be uploaded Step 11: Click Upload button to upload the document
