  2. ความหมายของ • Adjectives หรือคุณศัพท์ หมายถึง คำที่ไปทำหน้าที่ขยายนามหรือสรรพนามเพื่อบอกให้รู้ลักษณะคุณภาพ • หรือคุณสมบัติของนามหรือสรรพนาม • นั้นว่าเป็นอย่างไร

  4. Descriptive adjective • หมายถึง คำที่ใช้บอกลักษณะหรือคุณภาพของคน สัตว์ สิ่งของและสถานที่เพื่อให้รู้ว่านามนั้นมีลักษณะอย่างไร

  5. ยกตัวอย่างDescriptive adjective • เช่น คำว่า big , good , bad , happy , fat , thin , pretty , ugly , clever , poor , rich เป็นต้น

  6. ตัวตัวอย่างประโยค • เช่น A clever children. The fat dog. a happy cat. เป็นต้น

  7. แบบฝึกหัด • ช่วยตอบหน่อย • ploy’s hat is …….. (หมวกของพลอยสวย) • The food smells ……… (อาหารมีกลิ่นเหม็น) • She is so ……… (ผู้หญิงคนนี้สวยจัง)

  8. เฉลย • ploy’s hat is beautiful. • The food smells bad. • She is so cute.

  9. คือ คำที่ไปขยายนาม หรือ สรรพนาม เพื่อบอกสัญชาติซึ่งมีรูปเปลี่ยนมาจากProper noun Proper Adjective

  11. (คำคุณศัพท์บอกปริมาณ) หมายถึง คำที่ไปขยายนาม เพื่อบอกให้ทราบปริมาณของสิ่งเหล่านั้นว่ามีมากหรือน้อย(แต่ไม่บอกจำนวนแน่นอน) Quantitative Adjective

  12. ได้แก่ much many little some any enough half great all whole เป็นต้น

  13. ตัวอย่างเช่น • How many orange do you have? • เธอมีส้มกี่ผล • She don’t have enough pencil. • ผู้หญิงคนนี้มีดินสอไม่เพียงพอ

  14. หรือที่แปลเป็นไทยว่า..คำคุณศัพท์บอกจำนวนหรือที่แปลเป็นไทยว่า..คำคุณศัพท์บอกจำนวน Numeral Adjective หมายถึง คำคุณศัพท์ที่บอกจำนวนที่บอกจำนวนมากน้อยของนามที่นับได้ (countable nouns)หรือบอกลำดับก่อนหลัง(order)ของคำนาม Numeral Adjective

  15. 1. บอกจำนวนนับ (Cardinal) one ,two ,three เป็นต้น เช่น I have 2(two) apples(ฉันมีแอปเปิ้ล2ผล) แบ่งออกได้เป็น 3 ชนิด คือ

  16. เช่น May is the second girl in the line (เมย์เป็ยเด็กคนที่2ในแถว) 2.บอกลำดับที่ (Ordinal) first , second ,third เป็นต้น

  17. เช่น I ordered double cheese burger (ฉันสั่งเบอเกอร์ที่มีชีส2ชั้น) 3.บอกจำนวนเท่า (Multiplicative)single , double, triple เป็นต้น

  19. Demonstrative adjective (คุณศัพท์ชี้เฉพาะหรือนิยมคุณศัพท์) หมายถึง คำที่แสดงความชี้เฉพาะ เจาะจงนามใดนามหนึ่ง ได้แก่ This, That, These, Those, the

  20. She wants these red flowers. (เข้าต้องการดอกไม้สีเหล่านี้) Please open the window. (กรุณาเปิดหน้าต่างบานนั้นให้หน่อย)

  21. คุณศัพท์บอกเจ้าของ Possessive Adjective

  22. Possessive Adjective (คุณศัพท์ความเป็นเจ้าของ) เมื่อมันเป็น adj.จึงใช้ขยายคำนามดังนั้นจึงต้องมี คำนามมาไว้ด้านหลัง เช่น This is my table.(นี่คือโต๊ะของฉัน) Her pen is on my desk.(ปากกาของหล่อนอยู่ บนโต๊ะของฉัน)Their parents work hard every day. (พี่แม่ของพวกเราทำงานหนักทุกวัน)

  23. หมายถึง • คำคุณศัพท์ที่ใช้ขยายนามเพื่อบอกความเป็นเจ้าของนามนั้นๆได้แก่my,our,your,his,her ,itsและtheir
