Revised Prototyping Plan • 3 Weeks Before Final Presentation • Week 2: • Purchased square aluminum tubing • Submitted tubing to machine shop • Awaiting height adjustment components • Week 3: • Assemble Completed Parts • Address aesthetics and ergonomic concerns • Padding • Covers • Paint • Week 4: • Improve design, address any design faults, produce final product

  4. Frame Material Selection • 6061 Aluminum ¾ in. square tubing • 11 gauge • Purchased from Metal Supermarkets Atlanta

  6. Keyboard Selection • Obtained wireless keyboard and mouse • Keyboard dimensions • Width: 7.5" • Height: 1.6" flat and 2" when raised • Length= ~19"

  7. Keyboard Selection • Frame dimensions and keyboard selection allows user to easily change batteries.

  8. Plan for Week 3 • Assemble complete structure • Get threaded rod and couplings that local stores don’t sell (10-32 or M5[.8mm] ) • Begin optimizing prototype • Trim extra bolt lengths • Add padding to top plate • Add stops to sliders to prevent over extension
