  2. greetings • In Thailand the traditional greeting is the wai • It is performed by putting your hands on your chest and then leaning over until it reaches certain parts of your head

  3. manners • Do not touch people with your feet it is disrespectful • Do not touch a thai person it is considerd an invasion of pesonal space • Always leave some food on your plate to show you are full • Ask before having seconds • Women should not touch monks and must step out of the way of monk
