It promotes local artisan foods, organic products, and seasonal dishes in a collaborative environment. The destination will include butchers, fishmongers, and cafés alongside educational workshops, cooking classes, and product demonstrations. The goal is to foster an Irish food culture, providing employment and training, while drawing tourists and food enthusiasts. Support comes from various funding bodies including Tourism Ireland and Bord Bia.
