Understanding dCaM Binding Dynamics with Varying Calcium Concentrations and Peptide Interactions

DESCRIPTION

This study examines the binding dynamics of damaged calmodulin (dCaM) in the presence of different calcium concentrations and peptides. Using 500 nM dCaM, we investigated the fractions bound under varied conditions including 1 mM EGTA and 50 µM free Ca2+. We explore interactions with peptide concentrations [Peptide B] and [Peptide E] measured in µM, providing insights into dCaM behavior under specific ionic environments. This research contributes to the understanding of calcium signaling and protein interactions.
