  2. INTRODUCCION La preeclampsia constituye la mayor causa de morbimortalidad materna y perinatal en el mundo.

Walker MC, Ferguson SE, Allen VM La Biblioteca Cochrane Plus, 2006, Número 2 • Existe muy poca investigación sobre la prevención de resultados obstétricos adversos en mujeres con trombofilia. • La heparina, a través de su actividad antitrombótica, podría potencialmente mejorar los resultados perinatales en estos embarazos.

Implicancias para la investigación Se requiere que los estudios posteriores evalúen el efecto de la heparina sobre los resultados del embarazo para las mujeres con una trombofilia.
