Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System Evaluate holdings against the Ulrich’s Core or Universe and filter by: • Ulrich’s subject headings • Peer reviewed • ISI Impact Factor (mutual subscribers) • Katz’s Magazines for Libraries • Electronic availability • Country of publication • Language of publication

  9. The first step will be to load your collections into the system. Compare your collections to the Ulrich’s universe or to a core collection.

  11. View Journals Not Held by the Library Here you see a list of serials your library does not hold in the subject of Biochemistry. By clicking on column headings you can re-sort the list. We have sorted by Electronic Journal.

  12. View Rich Bibliographic Information in Ulrichsweb.com We can link straight to a title’s review in ulrichsweb.com. From here we can further evaluate this title by viewing • title-level details • formats available • publisher information and contacts • link to tables of contents and full text… • your JCR Web, Science Direct, SFX, and Serials Solutions resources.

  13. Identify and Correct Errors Another key feature of the Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System is the ability for your library to correct errors in your holdings file. At the bottom of your library’s report you may see a Note like this one, which will bring you to a separate report on titles with problem ISSNs.

  14. Evaluate the Offerings of Serials Publishers The same information is available to evaluate the offerings of serials publishers. Select a publisher from the “Top Publishers” menu. Select “List Matches” to view only those subjects included in the publisher’s offerings.
