  1. Sci-fi Art and the Death Dealer

  2. Sci-fi art and films now becomes the new face of entertainment industry. In the games or films, ad films or arts we will find the affect of sci-fi everywhere. Sci-fi is the imagination of an author which is not factual. Sci-fi or scientific fiction is mostly about science and technology, futuristic staff, space, apocalypse, post apocalypse and time travel etc.

  3. Sci-fi is divided in two categories one called hard sci-fi with lot of detailed in their scientific work and the other one is soft sci-fi which deals with human nature and relationship staff. Sci-fi has a very wide numbers of themes and subgenres. 

  4. Sci-fi art has lot of genre where some most famous genres are fantasy and science fantasy. Even though they seem alike but the difference between them is noticeable. In science fantasy there are progresses in society due to highly advanced technology or friendly or deathly alien invasion or the destruction of human world by biological hazard. On the other hand in fantasy the plot is not necessarily future related and even if it shows the destruction of humanity the cause shown mostly are magic related or mythological.

  5. The painting death dealer by Frank Frazetta in 1973 is a sci-fi art in fantasy genre. This painting is of an armour–clad warrior which is wearing a horned helmet holding bloody axe in one and a shield in another atop a horse and made its facial feature is obscured by shadow. The painting became spin-offs of different merchandise, novels, status, comic books with various death dealer adventures.

  6. In the novel section the author James slike has written four death dealer novel franchise which are Prisoner of Horned helmet in 1988, Lords of Destruction in 1989, Tooth and claw again in 1989, plague of Knives in 1990.

  7. There are several status and action figures were build based upon the death dealer character where the first statue is sculptor by Randy Bowen. In case of comic the first death dealer comic is published by the company named Verotik in the year 1995.

  8. The effect of death dealer sci-fi art even seen in the military. It is used as the III corps (United State) mascot since the year 1985. In the outside of headquarter of the III corps, Fort Hood Texas there is a live size metal statue. Also the death dealer is used as mascot in the united state Marine Corps helicopter squadron VMM-164.

  9. There are also various games available in the market inspired by death dealer sci-fi art. Sci-fi arts have always inspire us to see and look beyond normal.
