Content and QoS Policies in Multi-domain Heterogeneous Mobile Systems

This paper discusses the model for setting channel and adaptation policies in multi-domain heterogeneous mobile systems, focusing on inter-domain roaming. It covers topics such as broadcast applications, administrative and technology domains, and the infrastructure model. Ongoing and future work includes fine-tuning the model and implementing a discovery protocol.

Ongoing and Future Work • Fine-tune model • E.g., explicitely include the notion of a channel end point • Implement a ‘discovery’ protocol • Discover available channels and quality levels • For inter-domain roaming • Maybe based on existing protocols (e.g., SLP) • Incrementally add complexity • Ongoing
