  2. Write your NAME and SUID NUMBER on the card in the pouch. Before the actual test begins, do a test recording of your voice. • Slide the power switch down to turn on the recorder. • Press the “REC/PAUSE” button and speak clearly. • Check the recording by pressing “PLAY/STOP”. If you have difficulty, immediately notify an instructor. During the test, • Press the “REC/PAUSE” button to record your voice. • DO NOT pause recording until completing each question. • When you finish each question, press the “REC/PAUSE” button again. The display will flash “PAUSE” at the top. When the test is finished, press the square stop button. Turn the recorder off by holding the power switch down until the display disappears. Give the device to the instructor.
