MissionBrief • Mission Date: 18 Feb 2006 • Takeoff: 308th (Lobo 1) 04:08:00 SEAD PKG: 3675 310th (Panther 1) 04:10:00 Escort PKG: 3675 309th (Fury 1) 04:26:00 Escort PKG: 543 21st (Cowboy 1) 04:28:00 SEAD Strike PKG: 543 63rd (Falcon 1) 04:30:00 Strike PKG: 543 • Mission Objective: Intelligence has confirmed that the Nuclear Research Facility in Vinca, Serbia is making weapons grade material for use in manufacturing a high yield atomic device. The two reactors and two main plants must be destroyed to prevent this.

  3. The 308th and 310th will enter their jets in Taxi. The 21st, 63rd and 309th will enter in Ramp Start. The 308th will launch first and cut a path thru the SAM’s for the strike package with the 310th in Escort. RTB after AGM 88’s are expended. The 309th will escort the 21st and 63rd to target. The 21st will strike the AAA at the target site with CBU’s The 63rd will strike the two reactors and two main plants at the target. This is a 800 mi round trip flight fuel will be a concern. A tanker ( Camel 1) is stationed SW of Split AB. Divert field is Sarajevo Int. TACAN 114X.

  4. SAMThreat • It is essential that the SEAD flights perform their task. • Air defenses are dispersed well and consist of a multitude of different deployment parameters. • Use good judgment on selecting and attacking high priority targets only

  5. 308th Emerald Knights • Aircraft: 4 X F-16 52 CCIP • Load out: 4 x AIM-120C-4 2 X AGM-88C 1 X ALQ-131 2 X 370 Gal Tank • Objective: Open a lane in the AD for the strike package.

  6. 310th Top Hats • Aircraft: 4 X F-16 52 CCIP • Load out: 4 x AIM-120C-4 2 x AIM-9X 1 X ALQ-131 2 X 370 Gal Tank • Objective: Protect SEAD Strike from from enemy aircraft.

  7. 309th Wild Ducks • Aircraft: 4 X F-16 52 CCIP • Load out: 4 x AIM-120C-4 2 x AIM-9X 2 X 370 Gal Tank 1 X 300 Gal Tank • Objective: Protect Strike flights from enemy aircraft. Click to enlarge
