Subsequent events, including the 1972 Munich massacre, the Camp David Accords, and the rise of Hamas and Hezbollah, mark a complex history of violence, political maneuvering, and ongoing struggles over territory and rights, which continue to this day.

  3. 1964 Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) • Goal is to drive Israel out of Palestine • Terrorist in nature • Famous leader: Yasser Arafat 1969 till death in 2004

  4. 1967 Six Day War • Arab nations attack Israel • Israel doubles its land size • 5000 Palestinians displaced • Fighting continues to present day over this land
