  5. Railway traffic • Darmstadts central station is connected with all bigger German cities • Fast Inter-City-Express • But also many Regional-Railways

  6. Public transport • Public transport is arranged by a private company: HEAG mobilo • There are tram and bus lines which connect all quarters of Darmstadt • Trams run every 15 minutes

  7. Public transport • Ticket prices are arround 1-2€, depending on price zone • In accord with the local schools and the local Government, HEAG finances a year-ticket for all pupils who need to come by tram.

  8. Bicycles • 15% of Darmstadt´s roadusers are cyclers • There are 137 km of bicycle paths all over the city • Parkhouse for bikes at the central station

  13. Jugendstil RUSSIAN CHAPEL AND THE FIVE-FINGER-TOWER • Another famous building different to the Jugendstil is the Russian chapel. • It is built near the Five-finger-tower (Jugendstil) on the Mathildenhöhe.
