What is Madison being asked to take action on tonight? • Collaboration Agreement • STEM High School • Advanced Placement curriculum • Five year agreement with renewal options (2014-2015 through 2018-2019) • Located at Madison Park • 15 classrooms • Shared common areas, as schedule allows, for example: science lab, gym, lockers, and fields • Student Targets: • 2014-2015: 10 Rooms – 300 students • 2015-2016: 15 Rooms – 450 students

  3. What are the benefits to Madison • A ‘seamless’ PK-12 STEM educational program • Will strengthen Madison Park and Camelview academics • Providing another “Choice” for Madison parents • Provides additional revenue for Madison • Based upon student population

  4. Collaboration Expectations • A workable plan will be coordinated with Madison Park • Start / End time • Schedules • Student Flow • ‘Seamless ’STEM Curriculum • Coordinate Professional Development as appropriate
