  2. Zheng He: Mighty Voyager • Zheng He was born into the Ming Dynasty, his real name was Ma He. • His beliefs were Muslim • He was the second son of the Emperor • Once, he was gifted a Giraffe as a gift from the East African ruler. • Lived from 1371ce to 1433ce

  3. A Mighty Voyage • Zheng he was a mighty explorer who voyaged all over south Asia from Vietnam, across India, and over to Saudi Arabia.

  5. How does one Voyage so Mighty? • Zheng he traveled the seas via vessel. • This wooden vessel housed 500-700 crewman and is considered the largest ever built • The it was over 400 feet long and 150 feet wide

  6. What did this mighty Voyage Accomplish? • Well for stats there in Malacca, on the Malayan Peninsula, became the central network trading hub from Southwest Asia to China • And it showed off his wealth and power to the world; having the largest exploration fleet in history.
