  1. CAN THE SYMPTOMS OF PCOS BE REVERSED? PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) is a common health problem that causes enlargement of ovaries that leads to an imbalance of hormones in women. The ovaries are supposed to release an egg every month, but because of this condition, the ovaries may not even make the egg which is part of a healthy menstrual cycle. Women come to know about this condition at the childbirth age when they are not getting pregnant and consult the doctor. Therefore, it is important to consider the PCOS pregnancy symptoms. It is a common myth that PCOS targets obese women. But the truth is that PCOS targets women of all shapes and sizes. The exact common cause of PCOS is still unknown. It is believed that a hormone called Insulin changes the food you eat into energy. When it gets released too much, it causes the blood levels to become higher than normal that also leads to diabetes which later becomes a cause of PCOS. The only way doctors can diagnose PCOS is through a physical exam or blood test. One threat that women are not aware of is that it can also cause heart failure. It also leads to several mental health issues like depression and anxiety. As we are about to talk whether the PCOS symptoms can be reversed or not, we need to understand what PCOS signs and symptoms are? PCOS symptoms Women suffering from PCOS suffer from irregular periods or heavy periods. This irregularity in periods may lead to infertility which means you cannot get pregnant. 1.Obesity Obesity is also a symptom of PCOS because of which weight gain occurs, which later becomes a reason for obesity in women. It is a common symptom found in 40-80%percent of women suffering from this condition.

  2. 2.Excessive hair growth in unwanted areas This is called hirsutism when a woman gets too many hair on areas where usually men have hair. 70% of women suffering from PCOS get hit by hirsutism. The excessive hair growth at unwanted areas such as buttocks, chest, and chins might lead to depression as it makes them look less feminine. 3.Dark patches on the skin PCOS releases too much insulin, which not only increases the blood pressure but also leads to dark patches on the neck and in the armpits. It is not an uncommon thing for women suffering from PCOS. Most of the women suffering from PCOS get these dark patches on the skin. 4.Acne or oily skin Acne and oily skin is also a prevalent symptom of PCOS. PCOS gives acne on the chest, face, and upper back. It might cause pimples on the t shaped area of the face. Women might get depressed thinking that acne makes them look unattractive. 5.Hair thinning Hair loss in women suffering from PCOS occurs because of a genetic predisposition and follicle sensitivity. PCOS elevates the androgen level in females. Androgen is a male hormone, which, when released by females, leads to hair loss. We are now getting back to our real question. Can PCOS be reversed? No PCOS cure has been found yet. Heartbreaking, but true! By no cure, we imply that PCOS cannot be reversed back to 100% but, there are still ways to lessen PCOS symptoms. We would suggest you start by talking to a dietician who specializes in PCOS. Symptoms like hair thinning, acne on face and patches on the skin can be treated to some extent by visiting your doctor. If you are facing irregularity in periods, then it is high time to get in touch with a gynecologist because this irregularity in periods should not be taken lightly. It is a severe symptom which later

  3. may lead to endometrial cancer. There are pills available that not only regulate your period cycle but also will keep you away from being targeted by endometrial cancer. Doing regular exercise and maintaining a healthy diet is something which people generally avoid. Doing exercise makes them feel uncomfortable; they don’t want to leave their comfort zone. Exercise, like jogging, cycling, and walking, every day can help you to cure PCOS. A common misconception, rather a very narrow interpretation of PCOS treatmentin Ayurveda is that it is all about consuming some mysterious medicine made out of herbal products. Still, one cannot be wrong about Ayurveda, Ayurveda is much more than that. Ayurveda mainly focuses on health-related problems that are caused by detrimental food habits. So, what Ayurveda mostly does is that it directly treats the problem by changing their daily routine and using nature to treat the disease and PCOS treatment in Ayurveda is quite the same. So, the field of Ayurveda has proved to be more efficient in controlling the symptoms of PCOS than our conventional medical system. Ayurveda facilitates by balancing the level of hormones. There is not a proper cure for it, but if someone does suffer from this syndrome, what they can do is bring drastic changes in their lifestyle and control its symptoms, so it does not cause damage to our daily lifestyle. Furocyst is a clinically evaluated and patented nutraceutical for management of PCOS and its symptoms. It has been proven safe and effective for the same.
