Understanding Omnipolar, Bipolar, and Unipolar Sensors

This overview explores the functionality of three types of sensors: omnipolar, bipolar, and unipolar. Omnipolar sensors activate with either a north or south magnetic field and turn off when the field is removed. Bipolar sensors have two distinct operating points and latch on when a threshold is met but turn off with an opposite magnetic field. Unipolar sensors detect only one polarity, typically activating with a south magnetic field. Learn more about each sensor's operation and applications through provided resources.
