The MyID Profile Management Application is set to launch on October 25th, 2013, replacing various tools on the Manage MyID website. This new application will enable applicants to be assigned MyIDs readily, with notifications for Graduate Applicants ongoing. Undergraduate Applicants will receive notifications post-acceptance. Additionally, students can separate their MyID from their UGA email addresses and change their email aliases through the new application. Users can log into UGAMail using their MyID, ensuring ongoing access as deliverable email addresses.

MyID Profile Management Application • This application will replace various tools on the Manage MyID website • The new features will be available on Friday, October 25th at approximately 6:00pm. • All features will be accessible through myid.uga.edu.
Assign MyIDs to Applicants • As of October 1st, Student Applicants admitted for Fall of 2014 are being assigned MyIDs • MyID naming convention: User’s Initials + 5 digits (i.e., abc12345) • Graduate Applicants are receiving MyID Notifications now • Undergraduate Applicants will receive MyID Notifications after acceptance • Analysis on assigning MyIDs for other UGA constituents (faculty, staff, etc.) has not been conducted at this time
Separating MyID from UGA Email Address • Student Applicants who have committed to come to UGA will be given a UGA Email Account • Email naming convention: firstname.lastname@uga.edu • Starting October 25th, current users can change their email alias through the MyID Profile Application • Incoming students will be able to change their email aliases later this fall • MyID@uga.edu will still be used to log in to UGAMail and it will always be a deliverable email address.
BOR User Account Standard • BAAF members with questions about the BOR User Account Standard may send questions to adminfo@uga.edu. • Based on the questions received, a training session for BAAF members could be scheduled.
