  2. How to: • Locate • Client or HTML • 32 bit or 64 bit • Download • Install • Configure • Start • Use U-DESK!!

  3. Browse to udesk.appstate.edu

  4. Basic difference

  5. SELLECT THE VIEW CLIENT

  6. VM-WARE DOWNLOAD PAGE

  7. do I have 32 or 64 bit windows • Press the Windows key • Right click on Computer • Select Properties • The View Basic Information About Your System will open • Under System you will see System type 32 or 64

  8. Press the windows key

  9. Right click on computer

  10. Select properties

  11. This is your windows 7 version

  12. SELECT THE DOWNLOAD FOR YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM

  13. Choose download to start the magic!

  14. Run the install program

  15. Welcome to the view client setup wizard

  16. Agree to eula and select next

  17. Custom Setup just select next

  18. The default server isudesk.appstate.eduselect next!

  19. Enhanced single sign on just select next

  20. Configure shortcutsjust select next

  21. Ready to installjust select next

  22. The installation begins

  23. Select Finish

  24. RESTART YOUR SYSTEM TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION

  26. Select the short cut on the desktop

  27. SELECT the server

  28. CONNECTING TO THE SERVER
