Vocabulary • Wetland – place where land and water come together • Swamp – track of low-lying ground in which water collects • Bog – piece of wet, spongy ground, consisting of decayed moss and other plants • Marsh – low land covered at times by water • Mangrove – type of tropical trees or shrubs having branches that send down many roots which look like additional trunks
