IEEE DASC Update February-May 2011

This update summarizes key actions and initiatives from the IEEE Design Automation Standards Committee (DASC) from February to May 2011. Key highlights include the approval of the P1076 (VHDL) and P1076.1 (Analog and Mixed-Signal VHDL) projects by NesCom, successful recirculation ballots for P1076.1.1 (VHDL Extensions) and P1647 (e.language), as well as significant progress for P1666 (SystemC) and P1734 (IP Quality). On June RevCom agenda • P1776 (Esterel language) Withdrawal approved by RevCom

  3. DASC Operations February- May 2011 Update • Teleconferences held on 2/14, 4/7 & 5/5 • Joint face to face & teleconference meeting held on 3/2 in San Jose, CA • Plan to hold joint face to face & teleconference on June 9 in San Diego in conjunction with the Design Automation Conference

  4. DASC P&Ps Updates • P&Ps were revised based on AudCom Sponsor baseline P&Ps • DASC membership approved the revised P&Ps in March • Revised P&Ps uploaded in April for AudCom consideration
