RRMC RITE Training for Physicians and Physician Extenders Part 4:Outpatients and Unlisted Patients Review of Historical Data The presentations should open full screen in “Show Mode”, however, if they do not: Click “Slide Show” from the toolbar and select “View Show”. You will not see the entire education presentation unless you view in Show Mode. Use ◄►arrows on keyboard to move forward and backward

3. The system will search through all patients that have been to a Novant facility. Use one or more of the fields to find a patient. More details will result in a more refined list To find an unlisted patient, such as a discharged patient, click the [Find] button Use ◄►arrows on keyboard to move forward and backward

4. The “Active” tabs in the modules such as “Alerts”, “Care Provider”, and “Census History” display current information from the selected visit The “All Visits” tabs display information from All Visits across Novant facilities RMC, FMC, MPH, TMC, KMC, PHC (POH, PHH, PHM, and BCH to go-live with Amalga around Spring 2012) The “Inactive” tabs display discontinued or inactivated information from the selected visit The patient you have searched for may appear in your list more than once. A row will be present for each patient visit to a Novant facility Select the appropriate patient and patient visit by double-clicking or single-clicking the patient name and clicking the [Info] button Use ◄►arrows on keyboard to move forward and backward

5. Click “Care Provider” from the Clinical Modules The “Demographics” module displays information about the patient, including Contact information Click the [X] on the patient INFO screen to return to your home screen The patient you have searched for may appear in your list more than once. A row will be present for each patient visit to a Novant facility Select the appropriate patient and patient visit by double-clicking or single-clicking the patient name and clicking the [Info] button The “Care Providers” module will give you information on Admitting, Attending, Consulting, Referring, and Primary Care relationships, including physician contact information if needed Click “Demographics” from the Clinical Modules Use ◄►arrows on keyboard to move forward and backward

6. Log out of the workstation using the Red exit door on the UAS Launchpad When you return, your previous search criteria will still display To return to your patient list or to Undo your search criteria, Click the [Undo Find] button Use ◄►arrows on keyboard to move forward and backward

7. Log out of the workstation using the Red exit door on the UAS Launchpad
