  4. PRINCIPAL AMOUNT • THE AMOUNT WHICH TAKEN BY ANY MAN • RATE • TIME

  5. FOR EXAMPLE • PRINCIPAL AMOUT=100 • RATE AS PER YEAR=3 • TIME =3 YEARS • NOW WE ARE CALCULATING = (P*R*T)/100

  6. AND SOLUATION =(100*3*3)/100 =900/100 =9 Rs

  7. Compound amount Compound amount =principal amount +simple interest Example P=100 rupees S.I.=9 rupees C.A.=100+9 =109 RUPEES
