Cold Calling Control Zones
Cold Calling Control Zones (CCCZ) aim to reduce the nuisance and risks associated with unsolicited callers. Established through community collaboration, these zones allow residents to designate areas where they prefer not to receive cold calls. In Wrexham, zones are identified by street signs and door stickers, supported by informative packs on managing cold callers. Recent evaluations show overwhelming resident support for the initiative, with many feeling safer and more in control. Future expansions are planned in areas with high incidence of cold calling, enhancing community safety.
