  2. Topic: Proposal to the Reno Wheelmen Bicycle club in regard to Cruz Industries assistance Cruz Industries is extremely excited about the possible collaboration with the Reno Wheelmen Cycling club. Inthis proposal is our costing, artwork for review, as well as current pictures of our CSL-1 Arenberg Frame. We haveincluded a brief synopsis of our line’s technical information and sizing. Please contact us as soon as possible concerninga full presentation. • Proposal • We have a few offerings for you: • Framesets only—Carbon Arenberg CSL-1, CL-1 and our 7005AL-T4 Aluminum Comp • Framesets and our 50mm Carbon Clincher, the Cruz Missile C-50 • Complete Bikes** • We have included a Reno Wheelmen Club Pricing section. • **For a list of the components included, please refer to the hardgoods pricing section. • 1. Minimums for complete bikes, Framesets and framesets with wheel sets included are in quantities of 5. You can order as few or as many as you wish, just as so long the total quantity is divisible by five. We do this for shipping purposes. Components can’t be ordered separately. Wheels can be added at a charge of $850usd per wheel set with a frameset (we call this our module). • 2. Warrantee’s for framesets are as follows. Limited Lifetime warrantee of 3 yrs, after which we will only charge a flat rate processing fee which includes shipping. That fee is (CSL--$745, CL--$640, Comp--$425usd). All framesets will come with a Certificate of Authenticity, which must be turned over at time of warrantee. Additionally we are offering a 3yr limited warrantee for manufacturing defects. Please refer to the official contract for further warrantee details. • 3. We have a special crash replacement policy for the team. In the event a frame is damaged during a race, a processing fee of (CSL--$745, CL--$640, Comp--$425usd) will be needed for each frame wished to be replaced. As well, certificate of authenticity must be turned over with frame, as well as the customer must be in good standing with the club. This Crash replacement is good as long as the team member is in good standing with the Reno Wheelmen Cycling Club. All crash replacement frames will be replaced with a current Team Spl Ed paint job. We will maintain 10% of the clubs total orders on hand for crash replacements. In the event we are out of stock, Cruz Industries will loan a demo program bike until the Team replacement frame arrives. We additionally offer a crash replacement for the wheels at the Club price $850 per wheelset (msrp for wheelset--$2200usd).

  5. Arenberg CL-1 •  Features • o Tapered Head tube 1-1/8~1-1/2 • o External cable fittings for ease of build • o Integrated Headset • o Seat post size 31.6 • o BB-30 Bottom bracket, each accompanied with Wheels Mfg-shimano BB30 Adaptor. •  Construction • o In-house design—semi monocoque construction method • o ERC—Endoskeleton Reinforced Construction • o Hi-Fi/Low-Fi Technology— vibration dampening layup technology •  Sizing (frame weight +/-20gr) • o 50cm-1100gr • o 52cm-1135gr • o 54cm-1165gr • o 56cm- 1185gr • o 58cm-1210gr • o 60cm-1265gr •  Fork • o In house designed monocoque construction method • o Fork weight-395gr (+/-40) • Technical synopsis: • o ERC—Endoskeleton Reinforced Construction •  Carbon endoskeleton reinforces the carbon construction of our bikes. The rib joins and separates in different areas of the semi-monocoque frame. The reason for this is to allow for specific areas on the bike to have different compliances, whether it is vertical or longitudinal compliance without solely relying on the tubes shape to provide compliance. This allows for different wall thickness to maintain weight while providing assistance to the structure of the tubes shape via the ribbing. • o Hi-Fi Technology •  Special layup designs optimized thru use of vibration analysis. •  The vibration analysis utilized Morlet Wavelet Transformation post hoc analysis to correlate differences in High amplitude and High frequency characteristics with the time domain to assess the how, when and where exactly this type of vibration affected the frame. • o Lo-Fi Technology •  Special layup designs optimized thru use of vibration analysis. •  The vibration analysis utilized Morlet Wavelet Transformation post hoc analysis to correlate differences in Low amplitude and Low frequency characteristics with the time domain to assess the how, when and where exactly this type of vibration affected the frame. Also, we have teamed up with dumonde Tech lubricants.  We are not using ceramic bearings as honestly there is a lot of marketing info out to the public that is not correct concerning them.  But...what we are doing is using Dumonde Tech liquid grease and lube in the bearings.  Dumonde Tech isn't lube.  it's liquid plastic that actually plates the bearings.  this not only fills in imperfections on bearing surfaces, but removes 90% of the liquid drag associated with typical greased hub bearings!  We do all assembly and wheel building in house to maintain high standards.
