Current Mission • Assessment and Project Definition(Technical Assistance Mission) August 26 – September 7, 2011 • Objectives: • Clearly define the objective of Demonstration Project to all stakeholders (capacity building: training, coaching and mentoring) • Identify challenges and opportunities in local economic development / Collect baseline data • Assess Kohthom’s resource capacity (human, financial) • Begin to identify possible Canadian/Cambodian expertise for capacity building in specific areas • Agree on draft objectives for technical cooperation • Develop draft project plan with consensus of stakeholders • Introduce Canadian examples / information sharing (country history, electorate system, decentralizing of government, tax system,…) • Introduce Canadian examples / information sharing and awareness on LED to the different stakeholders
