Characters • What is a character? -Discuss with your shoulder partner (30 sec) • Who are the characters in the story? • With your shoulder partner name all 4 characters and one adjective describing each (1 min) • With your shoulder partner name one character from your favorite t.v. show and one adjectives describing them and how you know. • Ex. I like Scooby Doo, I know he is scared because he always runs from the “ghost”.
Setting • What is a setting? -Discuss with your shoulder partner (30 sec) • Name some of the setting we talked about in the story yesterday? • With your shoulder partner name at least 4 settings from the story yesterday. (1 min) • With your shoulder partner describe an example of setting from your favorite TV show. • Ex. In the cartoon Scooby Doo, Mystery Inc. searches a rundown, haunted mansion in the middle of nowhere.
