UES Sunset Updates

During the UES Regional Technical Forum on May 21, 2013, key updates were discussed regarding measure sunset dates. Notably, a motion was made to shift Grocery Display Case Motion Sensors from "Proven" to "Small Saver," extending its sunset date to July 2013 due to low uptake but significant savings potential. Additionally, an extension request for Air Source Heat Pump Upgrades was made to incorporate new data, pushing its sunset date to September 2013. These adjustments aim to enhance program effectiveness while aligning with updated measurements.

UES Measure Sunset Dates • Missed a measure that sunset at end of April • Grocery Display Case Motion Sensors - 4/30/13 • PECI requests moving from Proven to Small Saver given program uptake and potential • Savings Potential: << 1 aMW over 20-yr horizon • Low priority, but still desired to offer • Decision: “I _______ move to change the Commercial Display Case Motion Sensors category from “Proven” to “Small Saver” and extend the sunset date to July, 2013.”

UES Measure Sunset Dates • Heating/Cooling - Air Source Heat Pump Upgrades MH • Measure sunsets May 31st • Request sunset date extension to incorporate RBSA data into calibrated SEEM model • Decision: “I _______ move to extend the sunset date for Air source Heat Pump Upgrades in MH to September, 2013.”
