People really matter to God… courageous & contagious • Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” • John 20:21 “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” • Acts 1:8 “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.” Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Luke 15:10 “…I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

  7. God courageous & contagious God is Loving1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. God Is Holy 1 Peter 1:15-16 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Joshua 1:9 God is Just2 Thessalonians 1:5-7a All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well…

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.John 8:24 I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Christ courageous & contagious Christ is God, who also became man Christ died as our substitute1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Christ courageous & contagious Christ is God, who also became man Christ died as our substitute Christ offers His forgiveness as a giftEphesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Our Response courageous & contagious You and I must respondJohn 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of GodRomans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” We must ask Christ to be our forgiver and leader (Saviour & Lord)1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Luke 13:5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”1 Peter 3:15a But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Our Response courageous & contagious You and I must respond We must ask Christ to be our forgiver and leader (Saviour & Lord) The result is spiritual transformation by the Holy Spirit (the spirit of God in Us)2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies. Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Or are you still in the process of thinking it through?” • “Where would you say you are in the process right now?” • “Is there any reason why you wouldn’t want to receive God’s gift of forgiveness and leadership right now?” Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Crossing the line courageous & contagious • You pray together, with you guiding the prayer by prompting them. • Prompt them to ask for God’s forgiveness • Prompt them to ask for God’s leadership • Prompt them to thanks God Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid. Next steps courageous & contagious • Explain that God is so pleased to have you home.Luke 15:10 “…I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” • Help you friend get involved with other Christians- Go to Church and Worship- Develop friendships and get involved with a small group • Encourage them and Help them- to pray - to read their Bible- to relate to God Be strong & courageous, do not be afraid.
