PIM Platform

The PIM platform provides an advanced search tool that assists users in finding concepts from the ontology through suggestions as they type in the search field. Users can easily select these concepts with a simple click. The search function queries titles, metadata descriptions, and content within the files. It allows for multiple keyword searches separated by spaces and supports phrase searches enclosed in double quotes. By checking specific boxes, users can prioritize results related to their Area of Interest and Skills, ensuring a tailored search experience.

  1. PIM Platform Free text search

  2. When you type in the search field a suggestion tool helps you to find a concept from the ontology

  3. You can select the concept by a click on the highlighted concept

  4. This search type performs a search in the title, in the metadata description and in the text inside the file. You can search more than one keyword separated by a space character. This search type searchs for a phrase if closed between double quotes.

  5. If this box is checked you will prioritize results that pertain to your Area of Interest

  6. If this box is checked you will prioritize results that pertain to your Skills

  7. Click on Search button to start the search.
