  2. Country of Origin He originated from Spain, but he explored South America. He was born in Trujillo, Spain on 1475 and died in 1541.

  3. Explorer’s Patron Emperor Charles V (5th) of Spain gave him funds to sail to and conquer part of Eastern South America.

  4. Route Taken From Spain, went to Hispaniola, a main Spanish port. From there he went to explore the Caribbean coast of Northern South America, next through the panama canal, where he settled. After that he went to the Incan Empire in search for gold.

  5. Discovered Area Pizarro was one of many who discovered the Caribbean coast of Northern South America. He also discovered the Incan empire of South America ( present-day Peru.)

  6. Effect on Natives It effected them because Pizarro brutally killed most all of them, he also stole most of their riches. He later took over the area and went back to Spain to become the Governor of it.

  7. How it effected European Society The discovery of the riches and land was all beneficial to Spain and its Emperor. Most of the gold and other riches went to Spain, the country also ruled the land, which Pizarro governed at the time.
