  4. RESULT OF EXPERIMENT • Entrance clearance indicated difference between the radius electrode and the machine micro hole at the micro hole entrance. • Exit clearance correspondingly electrode between radius and micro hole exit. • Ideal case should diameter electrode equal to micro hole

  5. Determination of the machining condition • The machining time and the number of shorts does not show a significant relation to the size of the micro-hole, which, rather, is related to productivity

  8. CONCLUSION • The Taguchi method was employed to determine the relations between the machining, parameters and the process characteristics. • The input voltage and the capacitance were found to be the most significant controlling parameters.

Why do we use the journal and the method? • Micro-EDM can be attributed to advantages. • Grey relational analysis can be used to resolve the complicated interrelationships. • The Taguchi method was employed to determine the relations between the machining, parameters and the process characteristics
