Enhancing Education Data Management with TSDS: A Comprehensive Overview
The TSDS (Texas Student Data System) modernizes and enhances the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) by providing a robust, real-time data collection platform. It alleviates data collection burdens on districts and charter schools while ensuring reduced technology risks and improved system uptime. Through the assignment of Unique IDs for students and staff, TSDS streamlines data management, ultimately aiding educators in improving student performance. This document outlines the TSDS training and rollout plan for Education Service Centers (ESCs) and local education agencies.
