  26. @Home Parent Guidelines • Minimize distractions that might interfere with learning. • If your child asks you the answer to an exercise, ask the child to do the following: • Use the resources within the course software (Glossary, Toolbox, and Help) • Answer the exercise to the best of their ability. Many of the courses are designed to provide automatic tutorials when the child misses a predetermined number of exercises. • When the session has finished, explain the concepts presented to your child. • Print course reports regularly and provide offline assistance with the content that your child is finding difficult.

Acceptable Use Policies • To ensure the success of your child, we ask that you agree to the following guidelines: • Parents will monitor their child’s performance and session times as determined by the school and parent. • Parents will be responsible for the care of the software CDs and will return any CDs to the school prior to moving or leaving the area for an extended time. • Parents will communicate via email any technical issues their child experiences using SuccessMaker @ Home.
