What is Google Voice? • Google Voice is an online answering machine. • It allows students to call and leave a message for the teacher. • Google Voice can also be used to send text messages.
Quick Facts about Google Voice • Students do NOT need a Google account for this. They just need a phone. • Teachers can set up the account so that their own personal phone is NOT connected. • Consider setting up a separate Gmail account • All voicemails are recorded, sent to the Gmail account, and can be heard by clicking on the message.
