  2. Run Run Run • Annie loves to run with her best friend, Max. • She likes to run because she hears her heart beat • thump-thump, • thump-thump, • thump-thump.

  3. Thing That Are Happening in Annie’s Life • Annie’s mother is pregnant with a baby boy. • Her grandfather is very forgetful. • The girls’ track coach wants Annie to try out for the team. • Her art teacher has asked the class to draw an apple every day for 100 days.

  4. Run Run Run • As Annie watches her apple age each day, she learns that everything changes… • Her baby brother is born. • Her grandfather is getting older. • And it is okay to run just for herself and not join the track team.

  5. Life is all about changes!
