Tips of healthy sitting problem • If your chair has a lumbar adjustment, make sure it's properly adjusted to fit your body. If it's not adjustable, consider purchasing a lumbar support
You're typing or keying too long without a break. • Overuse can lead to pain - this frequently occurs after you've been keying too fast or for too long without a break. Make sure to take frequent "mini-breaks - these can be as short as 15-30 seconds. Also, consider stretching during this period. See Stretches and Exercises.
You're sitting too close to your monitor. • Constantly focusing on close objects without a break can strain your eyes. Make sure you're sitting at the proper distance from your monitor - about arm's length away for 17" monitors. See Monitor Setup and Usage, or the article Reducing Eyestrain
