Monopolar Electrosurgery Market
Electrosurgery utilizes electricity of a very high frequency for coagulation, fulguration, desiccation, and cutting of tissues. This process can be run via both the monopolar and bipolar energy in concurrence by using special instruments. Both the modalities have specific benefits. In monopolar electrosurgery, a current is passed through the probe electrode to the tissues of patients to the return pad, which helps in the completion of the circuit. On the contrary, in bipolar electrosurgeries, the current passes through the tissue within the arms of the electrode, which are shaped via forceps.
