  3. The Way I See It…

  4. Blogging is one of those really simple, yet really effective things that teachers can do to bring a little more flavor and some fresh new ideas into the classroom. It gives everyone the chance to show what’s going on inside their mind while also giving the opportunity for others to respond with insights and thoughts.

  5. All in moderation…? Some people are very against technology in the classroom. They point to the past and talk about how well older generations turned out just fine without using all this new fangled stuff. But what they don’t seem to understand is that the world is an ever-changing place.

  6. So what happens to the areas that don’t have the gumption to get all this new tech? Where does the gap close when there are some districts and states that don’t have money to pay for computers of the programs that go along with them? Sometimes going between school districts is like travelling from the present to the stone age.

  7. Balance: Learning how to balance between too much and not enough technology in the classroom can be a tricky line to walk, but it is certainly the key to addressing new ways of learning while still being able to bring freshness to teaching students how to handle the real world.
