To maintain a healthy pond, keep water temperatures between 65-75°F (10-15°C) to ensure fish survival. Healthy aquatic plants like lily pads provide shade and hiding spots for fish, while bad plants, such as harmful algae, can be detrimental to fish health. Clean water is crucial—as contamination can cause illness or death in fish. Potential risks include improperly treated water, extreme temperature fluctuations, and water pressure imbalances. Understanding these factors is key to creating a thriving pond environment.
