  1. Announcement: Mrs. Raki will not be here next year. Why? She is moving to Morocco with her family.

  2. Where is Morocco? • It is in North Africa, just below Europe.

  3. What is Morocco like? • Morocco is a small, pretty country, with lots of beaches and desert areas. • Mrs. Raki and her family will be in a big city called Casablanca.

  4. What is Morocco like? • Many people who live there are Muslim, so there are many mosques. • The people of Morocco speak French and Arabic.

  5. What is Morocco Like? • In traditional meals, people eat with their hands, instead of spoons and forks. Not all meals are eaten this way, but holiday meals usually are.

  6. What is Morocco Like? • There are lots of new, modern buildings and malls, but there are also old castles, markets and farms.

  7. What will Mrs. Raki do in Morocco? • She will teach kids just like you at the American Academy of Casablanca!
