  1. Technology at Alhambra High School A Virtual Tour

The Classroom • Due to a shortage of rooms and a surplus of students, most teachers share classrooms • To make sharing more efficient, most teachers use technology for lectures, projects, and assessments • The Proxima is used for Power Point presentations, Classroom Performance Systems, and Videos/ DVDs

  4. Classroom Housekeeping • The district server keeps track of attendance, grades, and AIMS scores • There is also an in-district email system AHS Teacher Resource Page

  5. School Resources • There are three computer labs that can be used by teachers and classes • Two labs are PCs and one is a Mac lab • There is also a set of computers in the library

  6. Specialized Computer Labs Fast Forward/ ESL Lab Yearbook/ Newspaper Lab

  7. Technology and Media • The morning announcements are filmed here, and are broadcast over our closed circuit television station

  8. Teacher Resources • Teacher workstations have computers to share, and each computer has access to Microsoft Office, Outlook, the Internet, Adobe, CPS, Easy Grade Pro, and Inspiration
